According to the report of TEDI Corporation, the total investment capital of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project is about VND 25,743 billion, in which the construction part is VND 23,614 billion; investment in connecting roads and urban roads of VND 2,129 billion.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway has a total length of 77.8km, divided into 2 component projects: (1) from Bien Hoa City - Dong Nai Province to Phu My Town - Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province with a length of 46,8km and (2) from Phu My town to Vung Tau city with a length of 31km.
The Component 1 project: The section from Bien Hoa city to Phu My Town with investment capital nearly VND 15,000 billion. In which:
- The section belong to Dong Nai province has a length of 34.8 km, it has total investment of 12,315 billion VND. In which, the compensation for clearance is about 4,723 billion VND, the remaining costs are about 7,592 billion VND.
- The section belong to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province has a total investment of VND 2,641 billion (including a branch section connecting to Cai Mep port). In which, the compensation for clearance is about VND 720 billion, the remaining costs are VND 1,921 billion.
To ensure the feasibility, the project needs support from the state budget of about VND 7,300 billion. The People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province will support to implement the project with 2,300 billion VND; Dong Nai People's Committee submited to the Government consider supporting about 5,000 billion VND for the clearance of this project, the section through the province.

The re-starting of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project will contribute to reducing traffic pressure due to the overload of National Highway No. 51; facilitate the development of other satellite projects along the project route and create more advantages for industrial parks, including the Phu My 2 and Phu My 2 Expansion industrial parks invested by IDICO in Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
