Dong Thap, September 17, 2026 – IDICO Tien Giang JSC, a member company of IDICO Corporation – JSC (HNX: IDC), officially held the groundbreaking ceremony of IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 Industrial Park (IP). Covering 470 hectares in Dong Thap Province, the project is positioned at the gateway connecting the Mekong Delta with Ho Chi Minh City.

On the same day, the Investment Promotion and Introduction Conference for IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 IP was held with the participation of Dong Thap provincial leaders, representatives of government agencies and business associations, as well as domestic and international businesses exploring investment opportunities in the project. Five memorandums of understanding (MOU), covering a total area of 41 hectares, were signed at the conference, marking the first investment connections and reflecting growing interest from the business community in the new industrial space at Tan Phuoc.

IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 is expected to begin welcoming investment projects from Q1 2027. Once fully occupied and operating at a stable capacity, the project is expected to attract approximately USD 1.5 billion in total investment and create around 20,000 jobs.

FROM THE GATEWAY TO THE MEKONG DELTA TO AN INTEGRATED PRODUCTION CONSUMPTION ECOSYSTEM

Located at the gateway between Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta, IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 IP is envisioned as an integrated consumer goods manufacturing ecosystem, leveraging Dong Thap’s advantages in transport connectivity, logistics, market access, and abundant agricultural and aquatic raw materials.

In terms of connectivity, IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 is approximately 3 km from an interchange connecting to the Ho Chi Minh City–Trung Luong–My Thuan–Can Tho Expressway, providing access to Ho Chi Minh City and major economic centers across the Mekong Delta. The project is also connected to the Ben Luc–Long Thanh Expressway, expanding access to Long Thanh International Airport and the Cai Mep–Thi Vai port cluster. An inland waterway port within the IP will further support multimodal transportation, connecting the project to the region’s river and maritime networks.

These locational and connectivity advantages enable IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 to leverage the Mekong Delta’s strong raw material base, creating opportunities for food manufacturing and processing industries associated with the region’s abundant agricultural and aquatic resources. The IP can also accommodate textile and garment projects involving dyeing processes, creating additional links in the supply chain, and supporting greater localization of production in the area.

INTEGRATED INFRASTRUCTURE FOR A SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRIAL ECOSYSTEM

Technical infrastructure and essential services at IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 will be directly operated by the IP developer, including a water supply plant, a wastewater treatment plant (Column A standard), and a 110kV substation. This operating model is designed to support service reliability and quality control throughout the operation of the IP.

Technology solutions will also be integrated into park operations, including the application of AI for environmental monitoring and security surveillance, enhancing the ability to monitor, detect and control activities across the IP.

Alongside industrial infrastructure, IDICO is planning accommodation facilities for experts and workers within the IP, as well as a social housing development of approximately 20 hectares adjacent to IDICO Tan Phuoc 1. These facilities are intended to address housing needs and support the attraction and stabilization of the workforce, contributing to sustainable development for businesses, communities, and the local area.

This orientation is also aligned with the perspective shared by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dieu – Member of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee at the Conference, emphasizing that industrial development should go beyond infrastructure for lease to foster a high-quality, green and sustainable production ecosystem with high added value.

FIVE MEMORANDUMS OF UNDERSTANDING – BUILDING THE FIRST PARTNERSHIPS

A key highlight of the Investment Promotion Conference for IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 was the interest shown by business associations, both domestic and international companies in the project.

Five memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements covering a total area of 41 hectares were signed between IDICO Tien Giang JSC and the Dong Thap Provincial Business Association, Anh Duong Building JSC, Zhongbo Construction Engineering Group (Vietnam) Co., Ltd, a member of Greenland Group from China, IDEC GROUP ASIA PTE. LTD, a member of IDEC GROUP from France, and IDICO-URBIZ Co., Ltd., marking the first cooperation initiatives supporting the development direction of IDICO Tan Phuoc 1.

THE BEGINNING OF IDICO’S LONG-TERM DEVELOPMENT IN THE MEKONG DELTA

IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 is among the projects supporting IDICO’s direction to expand its industrial ecosystem into high-potential locations.

With more than 25 years of experience in developing industrial ecosystems, IDICO currently invests in and manages 14 IPs across key economic regions in Vietnam. Building on this foundation, IDICO is pursuing a broader ecosystem-oriented development strategy, with IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 as one of its key projects in Dong Thap. Rather than focusing solely on industrial infrastructure, IDICO aims to develop a comprehensive industrial ecosystem that connect infrastructure, operational services, housing and the local workforce, creating a strong foundation for long-term industrial development.
