Aiming to build a sustainable industrial ecosystem, IDICO’s leadership team recently completed a learning mission to Japan, focusing on smart and modern industrial park development—an initiative aligned with Japan’s national efforts to drive industrial innovation and strengthen competitiveness.
Several key highlights include:
• Application of Information Technology in Operational Management: Leveraging AI and IoT for automated production, energy management, and emission reduction;
• Effective Public-Private Partnership Model: Demonstrating success in waste management, water treatment, and operating zero-emission industrial parks;
• Industrial Urban Restructuring: Integrating green spaces, residential areas, utilities, and public amenities to support workers and local communities.
The practical experiences IDICO gained from this trip will serve as a foundation for the phased implementation of actionable ESG solutions, aligned to develop model industrial parks by Vietnam’s Net Zero vision. This also sets the stage for developing future-ready, sustainable investment environments for the country’s industrial sector.
