On the evening of September 24 , 2022 , HEINEKEN Vietnam - Vung Tau Brewery Co., Ltd held the inauguration ceremony of HEINEKEN Vietnam - Vung Tau Brewery at My Xuan A IDICO Industrial Park . This is one of the Top 5 investors with the largest brands investing in IDICO Industrial Parks.
HEINEKEN Brewery Project has a total area of 40ha, located at My Xuan A IDICO Industrial Park, Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. In 2016, HEINEKEN Vietnam acquired the brewery (8.2ha) in My Xuan A IDICO industrial park from Carlsberg Brewery , with a capacity of 30 million liters/year. After that, HEINEKEN Vietnam has gradually implemented procedures to increase the investment capital of the Project, expand and increase the capacity of the Factory;
By 2020, the project has been approved to register to increase investment capital by 1,650 billion VND, the investment capital after the increase is 9,151 billion VND (more than 381 million USD) ; Factory capacity increased 36 times , to 1.1 billion liters / year .
This is the largest brewery factory in Southeast Asia, operated by 100% renewable energy (heat and electricity) , modern new technology, high degree of automation, and water saving according to the right model. model for green development . Currently, the factory is creating jobs for more than 200 local workers and contributing to the local budget over VND 6,200 billion per year (in 2020).
