On the morning of March 9, 2026, in Tan Phuoc 3 Commune, Dong Thap Province, IDICO Tien Giang Joint Stock Company (IDICO-ITC) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the access road to IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 Industrial Park (IP), marking an important milestone in completing the project’s connectivity infrastructure. The ceremony was attended by representatives of local authorities, leaders of IDICO Corporation, IDICO-ITC, as well as project partners and construction contractors.

The access road to IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 IP has a total length of approximately 256.5 meters, including 222.61 meters of roadway and a 33.9-meter bridge crossing Nang Canal, contributing to improved connectivity between the IP and the regional transportation network.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of IDICO Corporation emphasized that the development of the access road will not only enhance transportation connectivity for IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 IP, but also facilitate goods transportation and investment attraction. This milestone also demonstrates the Corporation’s determination to accelerate infrastructure development, bringing the IP into effective operation at the earliest opportunity and contributing to the socio-economic development of the local community.

IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 IP possesses several notable advantages, including a new land bank with a solid legal foundation, where land clearance and compensation have been implemented efficiently as the majority of the land area was previously agricultural land. In addition, its strategic location with convenient access to key expressways such as Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong, Ben Luc – Long Thanh, and Trung Luong – My Thuan – Can Tho enables IDICO Tan Phuoc 1 IP to form an efficient trade and logistics corridor between Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta region. Notably, the inland waterway transportation system with an internal port within the IP provides businesses with flexible cargo transportation options, helping optimize logistics costs while strengthening connectivity with major seaports in the region.
