In early November 2023, Phu My Ultra Clear Float Glass Co., LTD (PFG) - a subsidiary of VIGLACERA officially launched and introduced to the market the first square meters of Ultra Clear Glass with standard thicknesses from 3mm to 12mm; Common size and large format up to 3,658mm x 4,000mm, meeting the needs of buildings with large size.
PFG is the first Vietnamese enterprise to produce Ultra Clear Glass and The first square meters of Ultra Clear Glass produced in the Phu My 2 Expansion Industrial Park, Phu My town, Ba Ria Vung - Tau province. the Industrial Park is developed by IDICO Corporation (HNX: IDC).
Ultra Clear Glass is a transparent glass with maximum light transmission at all product thicknesses, favored by its applicability in high-end architectural and interior works thanks to aesthetic and environmentally friendly factors. In recent years, Ultra Clear Glass is gradually gaining popularity in Vietnam, from the application of facades of high-class showrooms, balconies, staircase railings... to home furniture, cabinets displaying valuable items such as jewelry, wine cabinets...
The successful production of the Ultra Clear Glass in Vietnam, opens opportunities for high-end architecture and furniture, meeting the growing demand for solar cells in Vietnam, helping to replace imports from China and India and towards export.
Mr. Do Viet Phuong, General Director of PFG Company said: "The factory has an area of nearly 150,000m2, equipped with modern, advanced, fuel-saving technology, ensuring a designed capacity of 1,500 tons of liquid glass per day. Phase 1 has a capacity of 600 tons per day and Phase 2 has a capacity of 900 tons per day."
