On May 28, 2026, IDICO Phu My II Expansion Industrial Park officially signed a land lease agreement with Bao Phung Phu My Co., Ltd. for the development of the Bao Phung Phu My Chemical Plant Project.

Located at Lot B1, D3 Road – N1 Road within IDICO Phu My II Expansion Industrial Park, the project covers more than 1.8 hectares with a total investment capital of VND 130 billion. The facility will focus on the production of water treatment chemicals and inorganic basic chemicals, alongside the development of warehouses and ready-built factories serving industrial operations. Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2026, with operations expected to commence in June 2028.

The plant is expected to produce 9,500 tons of aluminum sulfate and other water treatment chemicals annually. In addition, the project will process up to 300,000 tons of diluted basic chemicals per year. Approximately 8,000 m² of warehouse and ready-built factory space will also be developed for lease.

The continued attraction of projects in water treatment chemicals and supporting industries further highlights the growing appeal of IDICO Phu My II Expansion in developing an integrated industrial value chain. Strategically located near the Cai Mep – Thi Vai port complex and supported by synchronized infrastructure, the industrial park offers strong connectivity to transportation networks and international seaports, helping businesses optimize logistics costs and operational efficiency. With these advantages, IDICO Phu My II Expansion continues to emerge as an attractive destination for industrial and logistics enterprises seeking deeper integration into global supply chains.
