Hai Phong, January 15, 2026 – IDICO Corporation – JSC and IDICO Vinh Quang Joint Stock Company (IDICO-IVC) officially commenced construction of Vinh Quang Industrial Park (Phase 1), located in Vinh Bao and Vinh Hai communes, Hai Phong City.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the IDICO Vinh Quang Industrial Park (IP) was honored as one of three key IP projects in Hai Phong selected to be launched simultaneously, connected via live television broadcast, in celebration of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The ceremony welcomed representatives of central government agencies and leaders of Hai Phong City, including representatives of the Ministry of Finance; the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City; leaders of relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities of Vinh Bao and Vinh Hai communes.

Representing the project developer, the event was attended by Mr. Dang Chinh Trung, Chief Executive Officer of IDICO Corporation – JSC, together with leaders of IDICO’s member units, as well as its customers and partners.

A NEW MILESTONE IN SHAPING ECO-INDUSTRIAL PARKS

IDICO Vinh Quang Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) is one of the first two projects nationwide approved by the Prime Minister for investment in the development and operation of IP infrastructure under the Eco-IP model (Decision No. 29/QD-TTg dated January 5, 2025).

The project covers a total area of 350 hectares, of which Phase 1 is developed on 226.01 hectares, with a total investment of more than VND 3,550 billion. From the planning stage, the project has been oriented toward an eco-industrial model, enabling the investor to proactively plan infrastructure, control environmental impacts, and promote industrial symbiosis in accordance with Decree No. 35/2022/ND-CP.

IDICO Vinh Quang is expected to become a practical EIP model with measurable performance and scalability, contributing to the standardization of sustainable development approaches across Vietnam’s IP system.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Dang Chinh Trung, CEO of IDICO Corporation, stated:

INTEGRATED – ECO-FRIENDLY – MEASURABLE INFRASTRUCTURE

With more than 25 years of experience in industrial infrastructure development, IDICO is implementing Vinh Quang EIP with a methodical, long-term, and integrated investment approach, including:

• A centralized wastewater treatment system meeting Column A standards under QCVN 40:2025/BTNMT (Vietnam’s wastewater discharge regulation)

• Underground power infrastructure

• Modern security monitoring systems

• Application of renewable energy solutions

• A combined land allocation ratio for green spaces, water surfaces, transportation, and shared technical and social infrastructure of 27.78%

Alongside technical infrastructure, IDICO proactively establishes support mechanisms to help enterprises move toward cleaner production, efficient resource use, and the formation of industrial symbiosis linkages. This approach enables businesses to reduce compliance risks, optimize investment efficiency, and enhance their capacity to participate in global value chains.

DRIVING INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT IN SOUTHWESTERN HAI PHONG

Located in Vinh Bao and Vinh Hai communes, IDICO Vinh Quang EIP is the first newly established EIP in Hai Phong, contributing to the expansion of the city’s industrial development space. Hai Phong plays a pivotal role as a major industrial and logistics hub in northern Vietnam.

The project enjoys strong connectivity to the Hanoi–Hai Phong Expressway, National Highway No. 10, the coastal economic corridor, Lach Huyen Deep-Sea Port, Hai Phong Port, and Cat Bi International Airport, providing an efficient logistics foundation for both domestic and international enterprises.

Once fully operational, the project is expected to create approximately 9,500 jobs, contributing to income growth, social security, and significant additions to the municipal budget, estimated at over VND 1,100 billion per year.

The implementation of IDICO Vinh Quang EIP is closely associated with the guidance and direction of the Government and central ministries, as well as the active support and cooperation of Hai Phong City’s leaders and functional agencies.
